This page explains how FleetMate users can delete their account from the app, or request deletion if they can no longer log in.
Summary: You can delete your account from inside FleetMate when you are signed in. If you cannot access your account, email us from the address linked to your FleetMate account and we will verify the request before deleting the account.
If the app does not show a delete option for your account, use the request process below and we will assist manually.

For security, we may ask for additional information to verify that you own the account before processing the deletion. Do not send passwords, service account keys, identity documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information by email unless we specifically request it through a secure process.
When we delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal account information associated with your user profile, including:
FleetMate is used by businesses to manage fleet, plant, maintenance, fault, service, and audit records. Some operational records may need to remain in the company workspace after your account is deleted, especially where they are needed by your employer, organisation, or FleetMate for legitimate business, legal, security, accounting, or compliance purposes.
Where practical, retained records will no longer identify you directly as an active FleetMate user. Backup copies may remain for a limited period and are deleted according to our normal backup lifecycle.
We aim to respond to account deletion requests within 30 days. Once your identity is verified and the request is approved, account deletion is normally completed within 90 days, including removal from active systems and scheduled backup expiry.
